Invest in Canada

Invest in Canada works to promote, attract and retain foreign direct investment in Canada. Within the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Invest in Canada assists multinational companies planning to invest in Canadian businesses or expand their operations here.

Invest in Ontario

Invest in Ontario is a program of the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The program offers investment services to multinational companies, and provides information, advice and introductions to the people “networks” that make investing in Ontario easier.

Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA)

The Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA) is a unique public/private initiative made up of individuals who represent the financial services industry, related trade associations, all levels of government and academic institutions. Toronto Hydro

Waterfront Toronto

Waterfront Toronto is a tri-government funded corporation with a 25-year mandate to transform 800 hectares (2,000 acres) of brownfield lands on Toronto's waterfront into beautiful, sustainable mixed-use communities and dynamic public spaces.

Toronto Port Lands Company (TPLC)

The mandate of the Toronto Port Lands Company (formerly the Toronto Economic Development Corporation) is to lease and manage properties in the City's port area.

Build Toronto

Toronto's innovative real estate and development corporation, Build Toronto generates revenues for the City by maximizing the value and economic development potential of properties under its management.

Metrolinx

The mandate of Metrolinx is the improvement of transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). The organization is working to develop and implement an integrated transportation system for the region that enhances prosperity, sustainability and the quality of life.

Pan/Parapan American Games

The 17th Pan American Games will take place in Toronto July 10 to July 26, 2015. Over 40 countries from the Americas are expected to participate. The Games represent a major sporting and cultural event for the City.

Tourism Toronto is the official destination marketing organization for Toronto’s tourism industry. Tourism Toronto focuses on promoting and selling the greater Toronto region as a remarkable destination for tourists, convention delegates and business travellers.
