Educational Attainment
Compared to other global cities, Toronto has a highly educated workforce. The Toronto Board of Trade's Scorecard on Prosperity 2010 indicates that Toronto has more resident who have completed undergraduate degrees than Los Angeles, London or Hong Kong.
In total, over 50% of the region’s population 25 years of age and above has completed post-secondary education above the college level. Over 30% of this group has received a bachelor’s degree, of which 11% ha completed a graduate degree. These statistics exceed both the Ontario and Canadian shares.
